Christmas Terms and Conditions

WE KNOW…IT’S THE BORING BIT; BUT PLEASE READ THROUGH AS WE WANT YOUR EXPECTATIONS TO BE MET… & HOPEFULLY EXCEEDED!

  1. Festive afternoon teas and Santa’s Christmas party all require full pre-payment to secure the booking.
  2. A deposit of £15 per person is required to secure any other booking. This is non-refundable / non-transferable. Prices include VAT at the current rate.
  3. Final numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days in advance with the reception team. These are the numbers that will be charged for and catered for. Regular contact with the hotel must be maintained throughout the booking process.
  4. Bookings must be made via one nominated party organiser, and any amendments, deposits, cancellations and pre-orders must come via the party organiser only.
  5. Notification of all of your party’s menu choices must be provided by email no later than 14 days prior to the event, via the pre-order form provided. If not received within this time, default options of soup/turkey/Christmas pudding will be provided for each guest. Pre-orders cannot be accepted over the phone. All party attendees must choose from the same menu for any group booking, and menu choices and products are subject to availability. Pre-orders for Christmas day must be provided by 24th November.
  6. All beverages must be purchased from the hotel. If anyone is caught with their own alcohol will be asked to leave.
  7. Party night events – bars will close at 11:45pm, and functions end at 12:00am prompt.
  8. The hotel reserves the right to close the bar at any point that it feels there is sufficient cause to do so.
  9. Any damage caused to the hotel by any event attendees will be the responsibility of the persons who booked the event, and may result in charges being made.
  10. All accounts are to be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event, unless credit terms have been agreed in advance in writing. Christmas Day lunch is to be paid in full by 124th November; bookings taken after this date must be paid in full immediately.
  11. If a host wishes to provide a complimentary bar for their guests, notification must be given in writing.
  12. We are able to offer special meals for those with dietary requirements, but a minimum of 14 days’ notice must be given prior to the event.
  13. Each party will be presented with one bill. It will be the organiser’s responsibility to collect all monies required for payment, and present one payment for the total balance.
  14. The prices detailed in this brochure are for 2024 only. Due to circumstances beyond our control or market influences, the hotel reserves the right to withdraw certain menus/products without prior notification and/or change menus accordingly. All accounts will be charged on prices ruling at the time of the event.
  15. Exclusive use of the facilities is possible subject to availability, subject to minimum numbers and spend. Please enquire for further details.
  16. The hotel reserves the right to change the entertainment, should it be deemed appropriate.
  17. While the hotel will do its very best to accommodate guests’ requests, the hotel reserves the right to dictate table layouts and number of guests per table on party nights.
